A CARE assistant has denied killing an 88-year-old patient.
Tammy Knox is accused of the manslaughter of Alzheimer's sufferer Sarah Warren.
The 23-year-old was working at Finchmanor Nursing Home, in Finch Lea Drive, Dovecot, when she is alleged to have committed the offence.
It is understood it centres around accusations she pushed Mrs Warren to the floor.
Knox, of Clieves Road, Kirkby, is also accused of a further eight charges of ill treatment to those who lack the capacity to consent.
Knox, who was wearing a pin-striped shirt and black trousers, entered not guilty pleas to all nine charges.
The alleged offences are connected with seven different patients at Finchmanor nursing home between February and July last year.
