Celebrity photographer, Rankin, captures the different faces of Liverpool

John Rankin Photoshoot @ World Museum, Liverpool

CELEBRITY photographer John Rankin was in Liverpool yesterday to capture the faces of the city’s people – including Daily Post Style City Editor and columnist Emma Johnson.

Taking residence for the day at the World Museum, Rankin captured portraits of people from different backgrounds.

The images will be part of a new photographic project at the ever-changing exhibition in Truman Brewery, London, from July 31 – September 18.

Participants were picked for their unique style, life stories or captivating personalities, to represent a portrait of Britain.

The shoots, which are being held across the country, are also being filmed for Sky Arts At . . . Rankin Live and will be shown on Sky Arts 1 and Sky Arts 1 HD next month.

Rankin said: ‘The project aims to demystify the process of photography and change people’s perception of their own inner beauty.“

The Daily Post’s Emma was one of the lucky few to be photographed.
