DISGRACED banker Sir Fred Goodwin enjoyed lunch with the Prince of Wales as he left his post as chairman of the Prince’s Trust.
Sir Fred, who led the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) into its worst financial crisis, attended a Clarence House event to welcome his replacement, Carphone Warehouse chief executive Charles Dunstone.
Sir Fred steps down as chairman of Charles’s charity after six years.
He had announced he was quitting as RBS chief executive after a huge financial bail-out by the Government.
