A DEAD dog was found tied to weighted timber at the bottom of a river, the RSPCA said last night.
The animal was wrapped in wire and tied to wooden planks which had been weighted down with bricks and a sledgehammer. Its head had been tied down with cable ties.
The body had been thrown into the River Stour at Long Melford, Suffolk.
