THE family of a 19-year-old who was tragically killed in last Sunday’s horror crash in Wirral have paid tribute to a “happy, laughing bubbly girl”.
Michaela Favager was killed along with her three friends, John Aston, 19, Edward Smith, 19 and Gillian Fowle, 43, when the car they were travelling in collided with a tree on Chester High Road, Neston, at 2.10am.
The four friends, all from Neston, had been travelling home after a night out along the A540 heading towards Wirral when the collision occurred.
Michaela’s family said: "Michaela came from a large, close-knit family who are all totally devastated by her loss."
They added: "She loved children, in particular all her nephews and nieces, who in return all worshipped her.
"She was generous and kind-hearted and will be sadly missed by every one who knew and loved her."
The Vauxhall Tigra they were in somersaulted several times after hitting the tree before coming to rest on its roof.
Flowers and tributes have been left at the scene of the crash, and hundreds of messages of condolence have been left on Facebook..
