FOUR teenagers and a 28-year-old man were still being questioned last night after the shooting of a 14-year-old.
The boy was in Storrington Avenue, Croxteth, at around 10.30pm on Sunday when he was blasted in the leg.
It is believed he had been walking or cycling along the road when a car pulled up next to him and a passenger opened fire.
He is now recovering in hospital.
The suspects are aged 15, 18, two are aged 19, and the man is 28.
They have been split up and taken to separate police stations in Merseyside for questioning. One neighbour, who asked not to be named, said: “I heard the shot but I didn’t look out to see what was going on. The police came around later but I couldn’t tell them anything.
“You don’t expect it on this road.”
