There are around 100 producers and stalls offering fantastic produce from across the region from chocolates and beer to vegetables and free range meat.
New innovations include a shuttle bus from Spital station to the festival, courtesy of Merseyrail, whose message is to take the train and enjoy all the fun at leisure.
This will help those who choose to take advantage of the beer marquee, sponsored by local brewery Betwixt. There will also be a cocktail bar, courtesy of Gusto Restaurants.
The festival has also received the backing of environmentalist David Bellamy who has become a patron of the event, which is supported by Wirral Council, Wirral Farmers’ Market, Love Food Hate Waste, Livesmart, Merseyrail, Wirral Lions and Heart Radio.
