The comedian, whose children’s book, The Boy In The Dress, has just been shortlisted for a humour prize, took the accolade at the magazine’s glitzy Men Of The Year awards.
Michael Sheen accepted the best actor award from Eva Mendes, less than a week after he announced he had played former Prime Minister Tony Blair for the last time in a series of films with writer-director Peter Morgan.
Mickey Rourke was named international man of the year, and Lily Allen took the magazine’s award for woman of the year.
