LIVERPOOL’S commercial district will have a Continental flavour today as the city’s first Chocolate and Cheese Festival gets under way.
The one-day event, in Exchange Flags, is part of Liverpool Food and Drink Festival and features a selection of stalls selling a range of bread, cakes and pastries from around the world.
Traders at the festival, organised by the Commercial District Partnership and UK Land & Property, include Delifonseca and the Liverpool Cheese Company.
Organisers hope the event, which runs from 11am to 2.30pm, will prove a popular lunchtime destination for staff and residents
