Man walks into Liverpool pub and shoots himself dead
AN ARMED man walked into a Liverpool pub and shot himself dead.
Police were called to reports of a shooting at the Prince George pub, in Longmoor Lane, Fazakerley, shortly after 2.30pm yesterday.
It is believed the man, who has not been named but is thought to be in his 30s, walked into a room at the small family-run pub and shot himself in the head.
Police later found a body at the scene and recovered a firearm.
A small number of customers and one barmaid were in the premises at the time.
It is believed the customers were in a different room from the one in which the man shot himself.
They were not injured.
