BUDDING chefs from Merseyside schools will be rustling up healthy meals to celebrate British Food Fortnight.
NHS Wirral is asking pupils to use seasonal British ingredients to design and cook a meal that contains a healthy balance of food.
Professional chef Pat Oakes will visit the winning school to make the meal for a special guest, and children and teachers.
British Food Fortnight runs from September 19 to October 4.
