Liverpool's culture venues open late for the Long Night

Long Night city highlights

THE A Foundation’s 24-hour programme will include music and dancing and cinema, with breakfast available from 8am the next day.

Former poet laureate Andrew Motion will be reading his work at the Bluecoat as part of Liverpool Poetry Café, and the Walker Art Gallery is open until 10.30pm with DJ sets, live music and poetry.

Pioneering performance artist Carolee Schneeman will be giving a performance lecture at Tate Liverpool.

Community historian Steve Binns will lead a guided tour around the city, and there will be free tours of Merseytravel’s George’s Dock Tunnel Ventilation Building at the Pier Head.
