COUNCIL officers and councillors from the new Cheshire West and Chester Council have been invited to take part in a bus tour around Neston.
Organisers from community group Ch64inc say they want to make sure Neston is not overlooked in the council. The tour will take in Burton, Willaston and Parkgate, as well as the town centre, Neston High School and the Clayhill industrial estate.
The council took over from Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Council in April. Robin Hughes, from ch64inc, said: “People in the new council are not as familiar as they might be with Neston and its villages.”
Afterwards, at Ness Gardens, guests will have an opportunity to discuss what they’ve seen.
