THE Bishop of Liverpool is among three of the most recent trustees appointed to the board of National Museums Liverpool.
The Rt Rev James Jones is joined by Sir Robert Crawford, the former director general of the Imperial War Museum, and barrister Nisha Katona.
All three, who will serve until March, 2013, were recommendations by Phil Redmond, who is chairman of the NML board.
Mr Redmond said: “We’re really delighted.
“I want to signal the desire to extend both range and diversity of NML’s profile by appointing both national figures as trustees for our national galleries and international collections – as advocates for NML, as well as younger trustees to broaden the range.”
