A 42-YEAR-OLD woman was robbed as she took work takings to the bank.
The robbery took place at around 9.20am on Wednesday as the woman walked along Rake Lane, Upton, Wirral. Two men assaulted the woman and stole a large amount of cash before escaping in a red Ford Orion car, which was found burnt out on Nocturum Lane, Prenton.
The men are described as white, wearing dark hooded clothing and scarves covering their faces.
