Conman Faisal Madani, who sold fake LFC memorabilia to pay back just £1

A CONMAN who made thousands of pounds selling fake autographs on Reds memorabilia has to pay back just £1.

Wholesaler Faisal Madani, 43, was jailed for nine months, following the elaborate scam based at the Sporting Icons shop, in Chester.

A Proceeds of Crime Application (POCA) has been started against him and co-accused Graeme Walker, 45, who was sentenced to 30 months in prison.

But it has emerged that Madani has no recorded assets and an order is to be made instructing him to pay a nominal sum of just £1.
