A FORMULA One racing car has taken pride of place in Liverpool’s Metquarter.
The McLaren Mercedes car – identical to the one driven by stars Lewis Hamilton and Kovalainen – is currently situated outside the Hugo Boss store.
The fashion chain is one of the team’s key sponsors.
Its Liverpool store is also home to a Grand Prix simulator which will be the focus of a competition from Thursday October 8 to Sunday October 11.
Friends and family will be able to compete against each other for the best race time, with first, second and third place prizes on offer for the winner and runners-up.
Participants must go to the store to register and will be allocated a set time-slot to race.
