THE mother of a teenager who was stabbed to death at a Liverpool museum has gone missing.
Pauline Bailey, 50, disappeared from her Allerton home on Monday and has not been since. She has never gone missing before, causing concern within the family.
Merseyside Police said Mrs Bailey was upset following a recent bereavement. In 2006, her daughter Laura, 17, was knifed by boyfriend Kevin Howard as she cradled her baby son at the World Liverpool Museum.
Howard, 21, from Kirkby, jumped 60 feet to his death from a third-floor balcony.
Mrs Bailey is 5ft 5ins tall, with shoulder length red/blond hair.
She is thought to have been wearing a black jacket, black trousers and flat black shoes, carrying a large black handbag, and possibly using a metal crutch.
