Michael Jackson gave song to help murdered Liverpool toddler James Bulger's campaign

MUSIC legend Michael Jackson gave his song Heal The World to a group of young entertainers to support the James Bulger House campaign.

The megastar gave his permission for the charity single to be released just months before he died at the age of 50 in June.

The singer was so moved by the death of two-year-old James he sent flowers and a card to the family.

The star even penned a poem in memory of the murdered toddler.

James’ mum Denise Fergus said: “He sent a personal message to me with a large basket of flowers.

“There was a brown envelope and inside was a letter on A4 paper from Michael.

“He wrote a poem for James and he named it Child Of Innocence. It touched my heart.”

She said: “I do feel positive with the single as it means a lot to me, I had Michael Jackson’s Heal The World played at James’ funeral.

“I’ve listened to the song over and over again and it gave us such a buzz when I found out we could release it to raise money for the appeal.
