Mother of murdered Liverpool teenager is home safe

THE missing mother of a teenager who was tragically stabbed to death by her partner at a Liverpool museum has turned up safe and well.

Concerns had been growing for Pauline Bailey, 50, after she left her home in Allerton on Monday night and failed to return. Police said that Mrs Bailey, whose 17-year-old daughter, Laura, was fatally attacked in 2006, had been upset by a recent bereavement.

Family said it was unlike her to just disappear.

However, she returned to her home on Tuesday night.
