A LIVERPOOL FC fan suffered permanent damage to his eye after he was attacked in Leeds.
The 24-year-old man was taken to hospital with a serious injury to his right eye after the attack in Low Fields Road after a Carling Cup match between Leeds United and Liverpool at Elland Road on September 22.
West Yorkshire Police said the victim and two other Liverpool fans were walking away from the stadium, towards the car park, after the match when they were attacked by a group of five men.
