Liverpool teenagers fighting for lives after horror smash in Toxteth

TWO teenagers were fighting for their lives after being involved in a horror smash last night.

They were badly hurt when a motorbike and black Ford Focus collided at the junction of Windsor Street and Upper Warwick Street, Toxteth, at 7.30pm.

The motorcycle driver and pillion passenger were taken to the Royal Liverpool Hospital.

The street was sealed off by police as they examined the crash site.

The pair are understood to be two teenage boys – a 15 and a 16-year-old from the Toxteth area.

The two young bikers, believed to be riding a high powered KTM 690 “superbike”, were thrown off by the impact.

A black Ford was later found in nearby Nickleby Close. The Ford driver is helping police with their inquiries.
