‘No Plan B’ for climate change

CLIMATE change Secretary Ed Miliband has warned there was no Plan B if crunch talks in December fail to secure a deal on cutting the emissions that cause global warming.

Speaking ahead of a major economies forum meeting in London this weekend, which will mark 50 days to the start of the talks in Copenhagen, Mr Miliband said rich countries needed to commit to binding targets to cut their emissions as part of a new global treaty on climate change.

He said Britain was “determined to throw everything” at achieving a successful deal in the Danish capital.
