Tyger joins Liverpool Unites
A WIRRAL company has become the first on the peninsula to adopt Liverpool Unites as its official charity.
Tyger Communications in Bromborough has celebrated the opening of its new offices with an official partnership with the charity, which was founded to change the lives of young people in the wake of the death of Rhys Jones.
The communications company welcomed Mike McCartney to help celebrate the opening – and to prove that businesses on both sides of the water are doing their bit for the charity.
Lee Collins, director of Tyger, said: “We’ve teamed up with Liverpool Unites because we hope that the business will not only create jobs on Merseyside, but also help the children of Merseyside too.
“We are delighted to officially open our new premises.
“It is a dream to see Tyger Communications realise its potential and to be joined by a legend like Mike McCartney, the Wirral’s Cultural Ambassador, makes the day even more special.”
The firm has relocated to new premises at The Courtyard, Old Courthouse Road in Bromborough.
The move to modern premises allowed them to update their print and design facilities.
Tom Woolley, of Liverpool Unites, said: “It was fantastic news when we learned of our status as official charity of Tyger Communications.
“This is particularly special as Tyger are the first Wirral based business to adopt Liverpool Unites as their charity and this really emphasises the point that although we may have the word Liverpool in the name of the charity, we are committed to helping children from right across Merseyside.
“We are looking forward to working with the team at Tyger to offer a brighter future to the children of Merseyside.”
