A SEX offender breached a court order banning him from contacting young people the day after it was imposed, a court heard.
Mark Duckers is accused of inviting two girls into his home the day after he was forbidden from contacting anyone under the age of 17.
Liverpool Crown Court heard Duckers found the girls, aged 14 and 15, outside his home in Rice Lane, Wallasey, and invited them inside.
Charles Lander, prosecuting, said: “It was not a short visit. He clearly allowed them to remain in the flat.”
He said the visit only ended when the girl’s relative and a male friend arrived.
Mr Lander told the court the details of Ducker’s Sexual Offence Prevention Order had appeared in the newspaper that day.
Mr Lander said: “The defendant says it was a fit-up.”
He said Duckers claimed he had been drinking with the girl’s relative and a male friend shortly before the incident on May 13.
Duckers then said the girl’s relative, the male friend and four females burst into his flat.
Duckers denies breaching a Sexual Offence Prevention Order.
The case continues.
