A LIVERPOOL hospital has appointed a new chairman.
Neil Large has taken the helm at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, in Fazakerley.
Mr Large has been a non-executive director of the Trust since October, 2007, and acting chairman since July, 2009.Š He succeeds Mark Fitzsimmons.
Raj Jain, chief executive, said: “I am delighted to welcome Neil into this permanent position. Neil is an excellent ambassador for the Trust and has a vast wealth of knowledge and experience that will contribute greatly not only to our Trust Board but also to our future success as an aspirant NHS Foundation Trust.
“I am confident we can develop something quite exceptional.”
