Andrew Collinge will be guest speaker at NSPCC black tie ball at Wirral’s Hillbark Hotel

AWARD-WINNING hairdresser to the stars Andrew Collinge will reveal some of his funniest memories at this year’s NSPCC black tie ball.

Collinge will be the guest speaker at the huge charity event on November 14, hosted by Wirral’s prestigious Hillbark Hotel.

He said: “Guests can expect some funny anecdotes spanning my 30 years of hairdressing as the Collinge name approaches its 100th year next year.

“My grandfather worked on the ships as a barber, then my father was the most successful competition hair dresser in the 1950s.

“We’ve looked after Royalty, world leaders and Wags, so there’s plenty to talk about.”

He added: “The NSPCC is one of the most important charities and the Safe Place Appeal is crucial to its success.”

The glitzy evening will be hosted in the same marquee used by Westlife for a one-off secret gig earlier this year.

And the hotel’s new executive chef Michael Riemenschneider, of one-time Michelin-starred Juniper, in Cheshire, will oversee the three-course banquet.

The evening of entertainment will include music by Paul Pashley and his Swing Band, who performed at Wayne and Coleen Rooney’s wedding.
