THE John Lennon biopic film, Nowhere Boy, brought the 53rd London Film Festival to a close when it had its premiere at the Odeon, in Leicester Square.
The cast of the movie, which was filmed in Liverpool earlier this year, were in attendance at last night’s screening.
They were joined there by the director Sam Taylor- Wood.
Among the stars of the film are newcomer Aaron Johnson as Lennon, Anne- Marie Duff as his mother Julia, Kristin Scott-Thomas as Aunt Mimi and David Morrissey as Julia’s partner.
Nowhere Boy is set in the Liverpool of the 1950s.
The film will receive a charity premiere at the Odeon Liverpool One on November 23. It will be in aid of the Alder Hey Imagine appeal.
