Public consultation has started into plans to revamp Southport's Pontin’s Holiday Park

PUBLIC consultation has started into plans to revamp Pontin’s Southport Holiday Park.

Leaflets about the £100m development to transform the park into “Ocean Village – Ainsdale” have been distributed to homes in Ainsdale.

The proposals, which are still in the early stages, plan to replace the existing dated design of the park which has seen little modernisation since the late 1960s.

Ocean Parcs is hosting two public information days on the plans on Thurs, Nov 5, 2-7pm, at Ainsdale United Reformed Church, Station Road, Southport, and

Fri, November 6, 12-7pm, at Christ Church, Lord Street, Southport.

A planning application is due to be submitted to Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council next year.
