THE mother of an 18-year- old motorcyclist who died after crashing into a postbox last night led tributes to her son.
Southport student Kyle Woodward died during the early hours of Friday morning in Roe Lane, in Churchtown. Police are appealing for witnesses as flowers and cards mounted at the scene of the tragedy.
A tribute page on social networking site Facebook already has more than 430 members.
Kyle’s mother, Jill Hopkins, wrote: “I brought you into the world Kyle and I was holding you when you left. I love you more than words can say. Thank you for 18 wonderful years . . .”
Ali Holloway , who went to Bishop David Sheppard primary and Meols Cop high schools said: “Kyle made an amazing impact on so many people's lives.”
Kyle’s funeral is at 1pm on Friday, at St Peter’s Church, Birkdale. A motorcade of bikers will lead a procession from his home at 12.15pm.
