THE BODIES of six soldiers killed in Afghanistan, including a Birkenhead man, have returned to the UK today.

Cpl Boote was a soldier in the TA who had volunteered to deploy to Afghanistan.
He had worked as a security team leader at Tesco and was hoping to join the Police on his return.
A private repatriation ceremony is to take place for the victims’ families and will be followed by a precession of hearses carrying the coffins will drive through the High Street of Wootton Bassett near Wiltshire.
