Huge management expansion at personal injury specialists

PERSONAL injury specialists Scott Rees & Co announced six new senior appointments – including their first non-lawyer partner.

The Lancashire- based firm, which employs 165 members staff, has strengthened its management team by appointing a total of six new partners.

Finance Manager Stuart McKinnon will also be the first non-lawyer to be made a partner.

There are internal promotions for solicitors Nigat Ahmed, James Driscoll, Karla Kingston, and Chris Walker, who all work extensively in the personal injury field.

The firm is welcoming back solicitor Simon Shaw as a partner.

Mr Shaw previously worked for the firm for four years and rejoins Scott Rees from the Paul Rooney Partnership.

Managing Partner Royston Smith said: “Scott Rees is delighted to welcome six new partners to our management team.

“They will play an important role in the management and long-term strategy of the firm.

“A first for Scott Rees is our appointment of a non-lawyer to partnership level for Finance Manager Stuart McKinnon. We wish all six individuals every success in their new roles.”

Skelmersdale-based Scott Rees specialises in road, workplace and public realm accident claims.
