CITY Chambers Atlantic has taken on two new barristers in its civil litigation and chancery and commercial teams.
Monika Bar, 32, and Shannon Eastwood, 24, were offered tenancy after successfully completing pupilages with the set.
Their appointments bring the total number of barristers at Atlantic to 62.
University of Manchester graduate Mr Eastwood is three years younger than anyone else at the chambers. He shadowed Anne Whyte as she prosecuted the Rhys Jones case.
He said: “The quality of her work and the variety of cases she undertakes has inspired me and I hope to develop a practice of such breadth and depth.”
Polish-born Ms Bar said: “I love the intricacies of Chancery – particularly probate.”
