A WORLDWIDE conference for teachers and education experts is being held in Merseyside.
Knowsley, which consistently held up the national results tables, saw an influx of designers and school specialists attend the British Council of School Environments World Learning Conference 2009.
The conference today and tomorrow includes study tours to Knowsley Centres for Learning with day two of the conference based in Halewood Centre for Learning.
Damian Allen, executive director for children’s services, said: “We’re proud to invite BCSE delegates to see for themselves why Knowsley scooped first prize at this year’s BCSE awards in the Inspiring Design – schools category and a highly commended award on the Best Healthy Learning Environment category.”
