THE hunt for the killer of a sailor who died while on shore leave will be shown on Crimewatch tonight.
Royal Navy seaman Anthony Cavanagh was killed with a single punch on a night out in Liverpool in September 2005.
The 22-year-old was in Walkabout, in Concert Square, when he accidently knocked into a stranger, sparking a row.
He later left the bar with friends and was confronted by a group – including the man he bumped into earlier.
One man from that group punched Anthony to the ground and he died in hospital 11 days later.
The man who threw the punch was white, muscular and with short, brown hair. He wore a white T-shirt and a hooded top.
