Marco Pierre White to put his name to Aughton and Chester restaurants

The move is a coup for Sanguine Hospitality, the group which owns all three venues.

They say it was Marco’s long standing friend and local restauranteur Francis Carroll who successfully enticed the Hell’s Kitchen star to embark on his first UK venture outside the south of England.

Brian Gamble, general manager at West Tower, says: “The addition of Marco Pierre White will see us move into an even higher league.”

Tony Wright, manager of Doubletree by Hilton Chester, said: “We are ecstatic to be bringing Marco Pierre White to the North West.

“This news isn’t just great for us; it’s fantastic for Chester and the North West region as a whole. There is nothing of this calibre in the area and it’s great for tourists and locals alike.”

Marco Pierre White made a splash on Merseyside earlier in the year with a visit to the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival.
