Tots work vocal chords for singalong

TOTS are taking part in sponsored singalong sessions to raise money for Children in Need.

Diane Tasker, of Jo Jingles, a music and movement group for pre-school children, is holding the singing events throughout Wirral every day this week.

Each child taking part will be sponsored for singing and doing the actions of the well-known nursery rhyme, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

As well as singing, buzzing like a bee and wiggling like a worm, the children will also take part in a raffle and their parents will have the chance to buy their own Children in Need CD, called Boogie Bugs.

Yesterday’s session kicked off with the right tune as around 50 children gathered in Heswall Hall to do their bit for the good cause.

Jo Jingles is hoping to raise several thousand pounds across the country this week, after donating in excess of £100,000 to Children in Need last year.
