NATIONAL figures in the world of adult social care will be speaking at the second Personalisation Conference to be held in Wirral.
The one-day conference aims to tell Wirral professionals, people who use services and their carers and families – about “Personalisation”.
“Personalisation” is the drive to put people first, through a major overhaul of public services.
It will mean that people receiving support in Wirral, whether provided by statutory services or funded by themselves, will in future have greater choice and control over the shape of their support in all care settings.
The Personalisation Conference will take place at the Floral Pavilion on December 4.
Speakers include John Bolton, the Director of Strategic Finance at the Department of Health, and Kevin Doughty, Consultant and Deputy Director at the Centre for Useable Home Technology.
Anyone wanting to go to the conference should call Donna Kilby on 0151 666 4866 to book their place.
