A CITY centre cash machine was used to clone cash cards.
The ATM, outside Bhs, on Lord Street, Liverpool, was investigated last week after attracting the suspicion of the Chamber of Commerce.
It is believed a device was installed that reads and copies credit card details with a camera that records the PIN number.
Anyone who used the ATM machine is urged to contact their own bank as a matter of precaution.
