A MAN was being held under police guard in hospital today over the fatal stabbing of a woman at a former pub.
Sharon Green’s body was found by a member of her family at her home in Marlesford, Suffolk, on Friday, Suffolk Police said. A post-mortem examination revealed Ms Green, 53, died as a result of stab wounds to the chest.
Shortly after the family member alerted emergency services, police arrested a man of 59 on suspicion of murder, after he crashed the van he was driving.
