A WIRRAL man was killed in a car crash on Saturday.
The 53-year-old was driving his Vauxhall Agila when it was involved in a collision with a van on the A556 Chester Road in Tabley, near Knutsford, on Saturday, at 4.30pm.
The man died at the scene and a 53-year-old woman who was in the car with him was taken to hospital after suffering serious leg injuries.
Her condition was described as serious but stable.
The road was closed after the incident to recover the vehicles.
The van driver received minor injuries.
