POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a collision between a bicycle and a car at the roundabout of a motorway junction in Ellesmere Port on Friday .
The incident happened at 8.50am, on Rossmore Road East, at the roundabout at Junction 8 of the M53.
The cyclist, a 56-year-old man, suffered serious leg and pelvis injuries in the collision and was taken to Arrowe Park hospital, where he is in a serious but stable condition.
The female driver was unhurt and is assisting the police.
