Host of activities take place in Knowsley for National Tree Week

THERE are a host of activities to take part in during National Tree Week.

The week – which actually runs from November 25 to December 6 – sees Knowsley Council working with the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV) to encourage residents to get involved in their local woodland.

Activities, including nature trails, Yule log making and tree planting days, have been organised in Halewood, Huyton, Kirkby and Stockbridge Village.

There are also events planned at Halewood Park.

There will also be workshops at Ten Acre Pits, Stadt Moers Park and Bowring Park and golf course.
