UP TO 20 jobs could be cut at a food production company currently celebrating its 60th anniversary.
Sun Valley, the family-owned snack food business based in Bromborough, has opened consultations with its 150-strong workforce over possible redundancies after losing a major own-brand contract.
The company said it needs to consider rationalising staffing levels to “preserve the future viability of the business and the job security of the vast majority of our valued employees.”
A spokesman said: “We are currently engaged in a consultation process with our employees.”
