SHADOWY figures were captured to very different effect by two of the photographers picked out by their peers in this month’s online Flickr competition.
Jan Rogerson’s portrait of a figure heading through Exchange Flags, in Liverpool city centre, was carrying what looks like a gun.
The silhouetted image won the admiration of her fellow Flickr users, who made her shot one of three joint winners of November’s Readers’ Choice competition.
In complete contrast, Grey beat’s or Graham Morgan’s shot taken into the sun made the most of a little girl’s simple joy at the Liverpool One fountains.
Equal winner was Kap n Kaos’s seagull. Crisply captured, the shot was wryly captioned “a reincarnated docker”.
