WIRRAL Council has successfully retained Investor In People status.
The council is assessed every three years, and the review not only involves interviews with all staff, including senior managers, but also includes councillors and trade unions.
Investors in People is a nationally recognised standard which helps organisations improve and maintain their performance.
Welcoming the results, the council’s chief executive, Steve Maddox, said: “It is an important national benchmark for us, measuring our vision, leadership, involvement and motivation of staff. We will continue to build on and improve recommendations.”
