Liverpool man stabbed in Kirkdale

A MAN is in a “critical but stable” condition after being stabbed in Kirkdale yesterday afternoon.

Police were called to Westminster Road at 2.30pm following reports of a serious assault.

The man was taken to hospital with what appeared to be a stab wound.

It is thought he was stabbed in a property on Westminster Road, but was outdoors and making his way to a medical centre in the area when the ambulance arrived.
