A 45-YEAR-OLD man was taken to hospital after suffering from smoke inhalation when his TV caught fire.
Fire crews were called to Burnage Avenue in St Helens on Friday just before midnight.
The man was taken to Whiston hospital.
The TV was destroyed by the fire and the living room and kitchen were badly damaged by smoke.
