Plans to join Wirral's Stanley Special School and Pensby Primary school unveiled

Wirral Council

PLANS to locate a special school with a primary school in Wirral have been revealed by the council.

The authority is now planning to seek views on proposals to put Stanley Special School on the same site as Pensby Primary School – moving from its current building at Thingwall.

The proposal would involve rebuilding the two schools to cater for 100 pupils with complex learning difficulties at Stanley Special School and 210 mainstream pupils at Pensby.

Consultation with children, parents, staff and the local community will take place from January 6 before any decision is made.
