GENEROUS workers at Cammell Laird, in Wirral, have helped to raise nearly £10,000 for local good causes.
In total, the workforce managed to collect nearly £5000 which was then matched by the Birkenhead shipyard’s management.
The money will go to Wirral-based Claire House Children’s Hospice and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, in Liverpool.
